What are your favorite novellists?
Mine, in no particular order, are
Fyodor Dostoyevsky - I like him because everything he writes is so smart and philosophical
Bret Easton Ellis - What's more to say than American Psycho? His other novels are great too.
Frédéric Beigbeder - He's a french author, you might not know him, but he's pretty much like BEE.
Michel Houellebecq - The author whom Beigbeder was inspired from.
Albert Camus - One of the best twientieth century existentialist authors.
George R.R. Martin - I haven't read much of his A song of Ice and Fire novels yet, but they seem really original (Not those typical fantasy novels).
