Lost Odyssey

Hidy ho saw this going for £13 or something so figured I'd buy it. Anyone played it? Any good? Thoughts/opinionns?

My friend, who's into the J-RPG thing, said to me that 'it's just another RPG' He said he preferred Blue Dragon and that game really wasn't very good

I own it, it's no good. It tries to be a comedy for most the game and everything else is just boring.

janson is the only good character in the whole game, and he looks like he wears makup, and you hate him for the first 1/3 of the game.

very predictable storyline, gameplay was standard. the only great thing about it was graphics

The hell people. I LIKE it. My internets got turned off by accident by my ISP and I've been playing it and i think the graphics are fairly poor. I'm finding the story interesting, especially the mini stories when he gets some of his memory back. I like it.

My one criticism is the combat system..there seems to be no order in which they attack. It seems completely stacked in the computers favor a lot of time and i can't out heal their damage. Gets frustrating when you attack first one round and think oh I'll heal next round and get them back up and find yourself waiting for 6 enemies to attack you while your entire party is last to attack. VERY annoying that.

And I'm being forced to do a funeral for a dead chick i don't care about. Not a fan of that either tbh. But it's good **** it.

I'm not **** it i like it too! Well I'm still on disc 1 but I'm loving it so far. Perhaps you can answer my question; How the hell does it decide which order they attack in? It seems to be completely random and it ***** me off to no end.

There's probably a speed stat somewhere which increases as you level up. I forget, as I haven't played the game in ages.
