rsbandb rule reminder

Ok mods, admins, owners of rsbandb, just wanna say im not trying to be a mod by posting this, or doing a mods post and no disrespect.. i would like to point out a few particular members of rsbandb have been "one word"posting alot.. not sure whether they want their "post count" up or what. Anyways. this is a reminder that rule number 2 on the rsbandb forum rules states this.

If its not my place to post this, please pm me or simply lock the thread and simply say, we can take care of this. And not some harsh comment.

2. Spam.

We do not tolerate SPAM (stupid pointless annoying messages) here at Runescape Bits & Bytes, please post intelligently

Simply posting one word does not usually help anyone, explain your posts/answers.

Sorry, forgot to change line there. I was talking about spamming. Not posting in the wrong forum. Well, generally, you can get banned by againisting the rules too many times.

i know that.. my mouse acts weird, random times ill click to choose a forum board and the internet explorer screen moves up and down... not sure why.. been trying to work on it..

Lets just say that u wont get banned the first time u spam, but if u do it repeatedly, then u WILL! :twisted:

Dont worry about the wrong forum thing either, its easily fixed...just dont do it that many times :wink:

On another forum, was with the top 5 members and they banned me because I had an average of 4 posts a day, and that was spam they said

and 4 posts a day isn't spam more like 25 posts a day :wink:

actually your very wrong. if i was acting like a mod i would say things like this. "there is to much spam on "our" forums. IF this same doenst stop you will be warned, or "we here at rsbandb dont tolerate these posts".
Like i said this is just a reminder, and i asked to mods, admins or owners that if its wrong of me to post this, to simply lock the thread and pm and say what they have to say to me.

There are a few members who daily remind ppl of the rules, whether they say, umm spamming is against rsbandb rules, or your picture is obscene. Also when people post with cussing in it, i have seen many members get on ppl for that, saying "your not allowed to cuss on rsbandb, your gonna get banned".. I have only seen this with a few. They arent trying to be mods, they are simply allowing these people who dont read the rules before they post know what the rules are.

I dont make it my daily thing to scan through rsbandb forums looking for rulebreakers.. 90% of the time i see a problem, i report the post.

Also Huitzi, usually you will get a warning, but it depends on what rule you break and how severe it is.. If lets say you posted tons of porn pictures on rsbandb forums, most likely an instant ban. If you started cussing on all the forums, im sure it would be a warning..

I understand that smiley-spamming is a crime, and that people who do it all the time have to be reported.
Spamming once shouldn't be reported, regular spammers should.

Thanks for the hint, krazzy, but imagine that you post pictures and someone changes them into P0rn :shock:

i knew you'd post a huge long reply to that,

im not singling you out a lot of people post in an obvious way that they're trying to get picked as mods, i don't see the attraction in being a mod really... , and most of the 1 word replys you speak of are in the achievements forum where theres not a lot more to pos that "congratulations"

what can i say i like to explain myself, im seeing alot of one word posts through out the graphics forum.. anyways.. i dont know what the attraction of a mod is.. I used to be admin for a few forums in the past, its a tough job and you gotta understand what your doing. Trust me, i dont want to be a mod for rsbandb, its nothing against rsbandb, just im not interested in it and too busy lately..

I talked to mike through pm once and offered my "help" in anyway, i wasnt referring to asking to be a mod. Was just offering my help in any way really..But no, i dont wanna be a mod. Also they arent all one word posts, sometimes 2 words. anyways i know your not singling me out

but yeah, lets forget all this, i said what i had to say you said what you had to say.. and umm yeah.lol ill wait and see whether this topic gets locked, or whether i get a warning.. Which i hope neither happens. If it does, ill learn my lesson.

Perhaps your thread was pointless, but it's not wrong.
My opinion is that you are right and that there's no further discussion needed.

EDIT:I hope you mean something like this?

NO offence guys, I am not trying to insult you, just gave few examples

Personally, I'm not very bothered by it...
