RIGHT. I know most people here haven't played it but I'm hoping trekkie or someone is around. I'm personally rather shocked. This games very pretty and has a lot of pretty effects. But the A.I is the cheapest load of ******* and lets it down.

I can handle the super koreans that take 20 shots to kill making my awesome suit with all those powers seem not so uber and more something the entire military would need to take down korea. What i cannot handle is the cheap BS vehicles.

The tanks are ok, so are the cars. The boats are idiotic but easily solved just go away from the water. The helicopters? What the **** is that all about.

I'll just list the **** i did to get one to **** off:

1)Cloaked and waited for the alert level to go down. Helicopter remains.

2)Cloak and walk away. Helicopter **** FOLLOWS ME DESPITE ME BEING INVISIBLE.

3)Go deep into jungle and take cover under all the trees. Helicopter follows and continues to shoot the crap out of me.

4)Turned on my speed perk and hit shift to run uberr fast to outrun it. HELICOPTER MOVES EVEN FASTER AND SHOOTS ME TO HELL.

5)Shoot the **** ROCKETS ATTACHED TO THE **** THING. ROCKETS BLOW UP. HELICOPTER REMAINS AND CONTINUES TO FIRE. WHAT. THE. HELL.

6)Attempt to shoot out search light and take out the gun. Light refuses to go out.

Just how the **** are you supposed to kill the **** things? Because it's doing my head in. And don't tell me to get a rocket launcher there in short supply.

I have a shotty, an assault and two pistols.

well 4 ways to fix that

1. rocket duh. you should have saved them, usually there are rockets when the level starts somewhere. or don't bother with firing them on the cars but just use a bullet to hit the gas tank in the bake

2. if you had incendiary rounds aim between the left wing and the main body. that is the fuel.

3. find something big and throw it at it with strength

4. google crysis cheat and turn on god mode :D :D

one mooore thing. watch out for the flying hippo mission, cuz if you think the heli is bad, wait until you get to that level... THAT level will drive you nuts. what level are you at right now?

I dunno. I have to take out two AA guns. We've just started invading and theres fighter jets flying about and blowing up and it's crazy. I took out one AA gun and the helicopter showed up.

The *only* rockets I've come across are when your freeing a hostage and a couple of tanks show up. And obviously i had to use it on them.

Biggest issue is i blew the AA gun and leapt off a cliff into the water. So I'm on a rock being attacked by a helicopter and if i go in the water i can't fire my bloody guns so I'm stuck there. Blowing up it's rockets when there attached to it *should* kill it that's as good as firing a rocket at it. I need it to die with the weapons i have. :(

Will my assault take out it's fuel?

not sure if your assault rifle would have incendiary rounds but if it does try it anyway.

i take it you're on the mission where you have to blow up the ships.

i say hit the water and swim deep.

Ohh yes. I forgot to add that one to the list.

- Tried swimming to the bottom of the sea and it shot through it.

Job done. You shoot at the back blade enough and it'll go down rather fast. Just isn't an area you'd expect to shoot at to take the thing down.

Was worth it to see the awesome explosion and the chaos it created when it came down. Blowing up that navel ship was a pretty sight too.

ACTUALLY if you REALLY want to test your computer's power. get ghostbusters for PC

i swear that game is SOOOOO buggged that if you could play game smoothly you HAVE a great rig.

i could play crysis on medium settings and looked great. i had to turn everything low for ghostbusters cuz it was lagging and i would get murdered by candles... yes candles.

BTW if you like crysis try crysis warhead. you play as your teammate psycho

Hm. As it goes right now i hate phycho. Which is a shocker cause hes british and I'd usually like a character like that. But the only thing they seemed to get right about the guy was the accent.

Personality is all wrong. More American with an English accent than English. Not that anyone will know what i mean by that but it matters not!

That and hes one of the most useless **** team mates i've come across. Is there any point to him in crysis? He keeps claiming he'll be somewhere helping me and i do see him from time to time..with a gun but hes never using it and hes never bloody helping.

I was going to buy Crysis when I got my new graphics card (tomorrow) but if it's this frustrating I'll pass.

Creepy were you playing on a high difficulty or is it that hard on teh nub settings?

Naa it's not really frustrating. Just a few moments that wind you up. Once you get used to the game it's fine. Problem is your thrown into it with this suit that gives you super powers pretty much. You can move really fast, get super strength, become invisible, increase your armour.

And your thrown up against koreans.

...I mean come on your in a super hero suit and there..well koreans. What you need to keep in mind is it's not a super suit and you will die very fast if you don't play it smart. Personally think they went a bit over the top trying to balance it and should of just made us powerful enough to withstand heavy korean attacks. But i suppose you have cheats for that sort of thing. The biggest let down is the A.I and I'm playing on normal so it might improve..but like i said the helicopters are rather cheap in that they'll follow you around.

Game starts off slow but get through it and it really picks up theres some very pretty moments. Andd of course the whole game looks pretty;

That's it on high detail anyway..i did put it up to very high but the difference was very minor and there was pop in so i just switched it back down.

Well I've heard the graphics are very good :D Hopefully my pc can run it, anywhere I can look up the specs online? (I'd actually like to do that for quite a few games).

Edit:
Ya i should be able to run it, not 100% sure about my processor but other than that everything is fine.

Don't understand why 2.80ghz is considered less than a dual core (I don't understand processors at all so if someone can confirm a 2.40ghz dual core will work :D)
