PC, mainly as I don't feel like coughing up $5k for a Mac Pro, or at least $2.5k for a Macbook Pro with specs that don't even come close to what I have now.

But also unfortunately I need my PC software, so I don't think I would even use a Mac if I were given one. I'll be first to admit that the operating system itself is far more advanced than Windows in many aspects, though. On top of that I just love my PC for the most part right now, and I don't need any hassle with Macs like the crisis Shane seems to be permanently stuck in.

what crisis is that lol, other than his mic problems?

I'm a Windows person. A PC is a Personal Computer, and I'm sure Macs are personal computers in a sense. So, I'm a WINDOWS person. Why? I have yet to see Macs get gaming power beyond cheap and boring casual crap.

In a nutshell, Shane finds that the only thing his Mac is good for is coding/programming, web development stuff etc, and he's attached to the Unix interface. He is regularly frustrated by (primarily) MSN, Firefox, Java and Flash for not working properly - we're talking about the most basic of applications here  - but then on the other hand there are certain little Mac-specific applications that he can't live without. He'd also love to be able to upgrade his Macbook Pro or get some kind of replacement for it, but the prices are (while a lot better than New Zealand's pricing) still absolutely outrageous.

Personally I find with Windows 7 that I have just about everything I need, AND MY PROGRAMS WORK. :D
It would be nice if multiple-monitor taskbar support could be integrated into the OS itself, and then a few other things here and there... actually there should be a fair bit more integration, but Microsoft is on the right track now. I'm happy.
