Deleting Pictures

I want to delete most of the pictures in my pictures folder but every time I try "Windows Explorer has stopped responding,Restarting"
I am on Windows Vista,I have run multiple spyware and virus scans and have found nothing.
EDIT: If I right click it crashes too. I can't copy cut and paste them somewhere else either.+

Just to be really sure:
Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware here:
http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php

After the download is complete, install and open the programme.
Before doing a scan or changing the options update the database going to the Update tab (Not sure if it's the correct name, mine is in Portuguese

)

Now close everything you're using (including browsers but not anti-virus or real-time protection) and start a complete full system scan.

Now be patient and wait for the scan to end. (In average it takes me ~25 Minutes)

Well, that deleted everything in the folder...

Good thing I made backups

EDIT:When I tried to move them off of my flash drive the problem came back...

Perhaps something wrong with the file? What is it a picture of? And does it do it on any other systems? If yes then it is the file.

Right click on the files once they're on your computer and hit properties. Make sure at the bottom of the properties window they are not being blocked because they came from another computer. If so then hit UNBLOCK. Then restart your system.
