country, and any sort of rock (metal, alternative, new age, soft). My favorite rock (i like mostly all country groups) groups are:
disturbed, System of a down, 30 seconds to mars, kiss, Mudvayne, and three days grace

I've been listening to a lot of old stuff. King Crimson, Rush, Rolling Stones, Kiss.

All the bands I like though. Hm, that'd be a long list. I mostly like rock and metal, but not the scream-y type of metal where you can't understand the person.

Alright, so I listen to stuff that is a lot different than well...almost everybody. I listen to a lot of post-rock (instrumental rock songs that last eh, 8 minutes or so) that range from soft ambient stuff to all out thrashing (although the all-out thrashing is often very ambient). Explosions in the Sky and Sigur Ros are your authorities there.

Other than that, I listen to a lot of trance and a little bit of dance. I hate when people call it 'techno' music, because it's not. Techno music is oldstyle. Nobody likes that crap. Listen to trance. It's pure eargasms. I listen to a lot of amateur trance and dance because I love how fresh it sounds. Professional stuff can get dull.
