honestly, i actually do feel it will turn out that way. it won't have the same star trek feeling as many hardcore nerds feel. it would basically be what star wars ep 1 was like for star wars nerds.

i'm not going to see it anytime soon, i am going to wait until the reviews are out. i think it will be kinda like the x-men movie. an action packed movie with no real plot.

^plus spock got angry and tried to kill kirk... that's just killed the movie for about 10,000,000 nerds.

do remember, in the year 3000, star trek becomes a religion.

Yeah, I saw the Star Trek movie last night. I felt so nerdy: I was standing in line to see the movie an hour in advance, I was with my friends that I play xbox live with, and one of my friends was playing pokemon so we were all discussing it.

Anyway, it was great, but I knew the hard core Star Trek fans would get mad because it was aimed towards the general public and not so much the Star Trek fans.

And as an end note:
Zachary Quinto played an excellent Spock. I love that actor. And, I loved how they brought the original actor back too. That was a good idea on their part.

I thought the movie was ok, but the plot could have been extended.
They made it not toward Trek fans, but for anyone.

It didn't turn out like that. It was way great in my opinion, but there were things that pretty much changed in the story of the TV series. (And some things of the whole Star Trek story)

I am tired of The Onion, tbh. Maybe that opinion is effected because my brother shows me all sorts of crap on The Onion.
