I can see there point in this, how many students do you have from Africa in your school. Very few im presuming. So why spend the time listing every single country in Africa when you can say your from Africa and its just the same.

Wouldn't it be more hassle to list the the countries in Africa if they had many African students? Loads of websites list the majority (if not all) countries in a drop down list, this is just being lazy.

Unfortunately that's the sad reality of the school system today. As a Junior going to a Senior, even some of the stuff they teach in my level is just common sense.

Its only like that because there really arent any actually cities, towns, or boroughs to be considered to make it a seperated thing. So they are considered to be a Continent and a Country just like Austrailia.
