Snow but school

Wait. That doesn't make much sense, a snow day here means that school is cancelled because of road conditions why would you have to go to school if it was cancelled?

if you take it literally a snow day is a day in which it is snowing.

The catholic school board here maintains to keep everyone in school on "Snow Days" as long as possible. It's dumb.

Back when I was in public school, I would ride the bus to school. And during the winter time, there was a blizzard that put 4 feet of snow on the ground, and so that plus more snow is what we had to wait at the bus stop in. I didn't have a coat back then, either. It was like 10 degrees out every day, and the concrete at the school was covered in solid ice, but we still had to go to school.

But, with 4 feet of snow on the ground, some of my friends and I made a little snowman, and the school gave us some pencils for it. XD
