The New Sig Updater Thing

Hmmmm, i have noticed a few sigs being changed to crazy amounts. there has t be a way to stop this....

Well we could limit the sigs to only people on our forums, then that would make them easier to control.

or

We could make it so people cant enter stats not on highscore and they would show as "--" like they did before.

Those seem like the only options....

Okay im an RsC player and I must admit, I'm only here right now because of the cool dynamic sig. Of course im mad at Jagex taking away our hiscores so I must ask.

Is there any way to update the sig based on script activated by checking rsc stats? There must be with javascript debugging stuff but im not sure how much skill it would take.

So if you can try to do that, or tell me the code so i can fiddle with it, id be very greatful and id buy it for a few mil in rsc. Sry i just really want ppl to know i really did just get 70 fletching and stuff like that.

I know a working code to get the hi-scores (probably not the exact same as RS B&B) and they way it works is to open the hi-score page with all of that user's hi-score stats on it and get the levels...

So if there is no section on runescape.com with RSC hi-scores, there is no way to get RSC stats in your sig

maybe if its software u download on to ur system, it can pickup the lvls that show up when u log in. O well thc neway, il talk to some of my friends that are trying to learn java lol.

No that wouldn't work either, unless you made a program that could recognize numbers from a screenshot...

because actually reading the text of the lvls from RS... the only way to do that would be kinda like hacking...

An OCR? You'd have to program it into a visual basic program, or a C program.

you should try merge it with the forum DB and only extract and check the user names if they correspond to the one submited.
or do it like my service
for lower level sigs my scripts check if it has the stats on the hiscore, if not it will grab the one on the DB.

Ours already does that... but you may not create a signature unless at least one of your stats are on the highscores, to prevent false names being created.
