Help with talking to a Girl

ok yeah im a loser (what you get playing runescape 7 years)
well about 3 years ago i met a girl on runescape. we been chating ever since. on rs, myspace and all. We are perfect foreach other, we are both strange and very random.
(dont say its a guy cuz its not)

she lives in indiana i live in maine . she always tried to get me to talk with her on the phone but i dont like the phone. well tonight i fianlly gave in and called her. when she picked up a froze (near panic attack dialing)
and then i played that brakeing up game and hung up.
shes my girlfriend i should be able to talk to her

any help would be thankful

Aight, tke it easy when talking on the phone, ask about things, weather perhaps? than carry on onto other topics, works like a charm. Start slowly.

The only thing I can suggest is that you talk about what you guys normally talk about online. Believe it or not, talking is not much different than typing. If you force yourselves to talk about boring subjects (no offence, Mikhail) like weather, then the convo will be boring. If you can't think of what to say in the beginning, try mentioning how glad you are to finally talk to her. Things like that.

If you talk about the same or similar things you do online then it'll be fine. If you don't like the way the conversation is going (like what is being discussed) try to nonchalantly change the subject.

Erm I always start my phone conversations with Weather and then move onto other things.

When you're on the phone, visualize a computer screen. Whenever she talks imagine it as words appearing in a dialogue box. Then, pretend you're typing back when you talk. Like a voice activated Key Board

As long as you have something to start with, if you guys are able to talk to each other well, then you should easily be able to carry on the conversation without thinking about it. Try not to think about it, just do it. Like some famous director or something said:

If you're too uncomfortable talking with them then I don't think it's a good idea to get to know them better. If it's too awkward to talk to someone then I wouldn't be comfortable being with them for the rest of my life

That's a good idea.

Before talking on the phone you could do this relaxation ******* stuff my English teacher made us do:

First visualize yourself. Then visualize your thoughts (I know wtf right?). Next imagine a nice place, like a farm. Then imagine yourself on the farm. Now imagine everything going one color (like a turquoise). Now imagine all this color turning into a ball. And finally imagine the ball just melting away.

Ya it work's for some reason, helped me before giving a speech in front of a bunch of people.

If you can't hold a normal phone conversation with her, then you should just stick to online chat. You should have never called her in the first place.

Well all i can suggest is small talk. Like you i hate talking to girls on the phone, id rather just take them out to talk to them or instant message/text. Thats because i get distracted easy and ill be talking to someone on the phone and then space out thinking about how the hell did we land a man on the moon yet i cant get cell phone signal in my room. But anyway just do small talk, like how was your day, how is there weather. You know? Just realize she likes you so you have really nothing to lose by sounding like a ******* on the phone.
