how do you get gifs, animated moving pictures onto your ipod?
i found some cool animated runescape pictures that i like for my ipod?
is there a way or will they always be just plain?

Only these formates will work on the iPod...

Syncs iPod-viewable photos in JPEG, BMP, GIF (Non animated), TIFF, PSD (Mac only), and PNG formats

You could try using a screen capture program to copy the .gif to a different format, such as .mov, and then importing that. Only way I see that would work, unless a different firmware would allow access to .gif .

Yes, that would work, just don't use .mov. Use .mp4
