Yikes that's a worrying situation. Was this a set up or Russia acting on it's own accord? Surely doing so without our government being in the know would cause a hell of a lot of trouble?

edit: just noticed this was from a year ago (the plane not the story) so i guess not. Weird. I'm sure they must of improved on it since.

hmm, a really big bomber flying to another country, or some airliners flying over the country they are from? and if you remember the people in the plane didnt get to call their loved ones till a few mins b4 the planes hit. why would a rader be looking for something they already knew was in the sky, they just didnt know what was going on in the plane b4 it was to late.........

But you implied because it's really big it should be obvious? XD It's a STEALTH ship, it's designed to slip past.

your missing the point of what i was trying to say, Matthew wanted to compare 9/11 to that
A) why would we be looking for a plane on rader we already knew was in the sky?
B) bomber or airliner, what would you be looking for on a rader?
C) i know its a stealth bomber, yeah i know that. but rader is ment to pick it up, even if it is stealth. the bomber is ment to not be seen, the rader is ment to see it...i can see the rader did not do its job, thats why i thought it was funny.

Uh..but..

A)Planes follow very strict flight paths, I'd imagine one heading towards a sky scraper, at the wrong altitude and so on would be a bit of an alert, not knowing all the details or being an expert on planes I can't say for sure though.
B)If it was flying at some sky scrapers i don't think it'd have mattered.
c)Stealh planes are made to hopefully avoid radar. o.0 What does it matter if some guy on the floor sees it? To high up to tell WHAT sort of ship it is really. Course you get snagged by radar you get the RAF come and greet you. XD

A)yes i know, but if you remember the terrost cut off the little thing (i cant remember what its called) that tells the air traffic controllers where the plane is.
B) no one saw the planes flying at them till it was to late
C)yes i know, but the whole goal of a rader is to see things that are not ment to be seen...
i didnt say anything about a guy seeing it from the ground.

if it was a year ago why are we talking about it now?
