Well, I just entered my 8th Prestige tonight. 8 days of play time, 1 Prestige per 24 hours. 1.11 Win/Loss ratio and 1.48 kill/death.

That's the mode I'm trying to play through. It's annoying me to no end, the little flaws are winding me up.

Crap save system, terrible team mates that either die instantly cause there to stupid to take cover or better yet, stand next to me while i'm in cover so i can't poke out and shoot.

Driving is terrible and boring. I've only been to two planets and I'm already avoiding going to any i don't need to visit to progress through the story cause the driving is that dull. :oops:

Oh and the cover system is god awful, I'd have no problem with it if it wasn't for the fact it doesn't always work. You get enemys that like firing rockets a lot and the cover system does nothing to protect you, I'm being one hit a lot cause of it. Very VERY annoying.

Oh and my team mates are on friendly terms with everyone, cause i constantly get an enemy run around and shoot me. :roll:

menu's are crap and horrible to navigate, lifts are a joke as well.

Maybe i need to drop it down to easy difficulty, perhaps it'll be more fun.

edit: Story is good though, only reason that I'm still going.

Normal mode is actually a lot easier if you play through it first on easy, then start the game again using the same profile. You start out with all your armor, weapons, and upgrades, and you get some new upgrades along the way. The way I basically played through the game was give Wrex a shotgun with explosive rounds and give Ashley the second best assault rifle I had the best one went to me

). Also, I recommend explosive rounds in your snpier rifle, it's basically like firing a rocket launcher but better!

The rest of veteran should be a piece of cake, and like Steven said game over is very easy on veteran, was like a free 40gs. Sins of the father was also pretty easy. Im currently stuck on heat though, I can make it up the hill easy, I just cant get down. I might try that walkthrough website Steven told me about though.

Oh and i also got a few various BF:BC acheivements, too lazy to look but i think they total up to about 120GS or so.

I don't get why the hell people thing All Ghillied Up is so **** hard on Veteran. It's no different than it being on Recruit. If you take it slow and easy you'll do it in one shot on Veteran like I did.

Also, for those wondering, the website is nextgenwalkthroughs.com . Ryan, Total Pl0x (I think), and I have all used their Call of duty 4 walkthrough.

Not being funny but if you use a walkthrough you're not exactly going to understand why levels are hard. XD

Those things give you so many tips and ways of avoiding stuff it makes it easy, i got stuck several times trying to get through on Vet. ;$

i went to watch the video and i did the same thing the person did and sometimes i still get caught. hell one time i actually made it all the way across but he was still behind me and somehow he got caught, died and then the game blamed it on me. jerks

Am I the only one who didn't use guides? The key to beating veteran is use cover and use those flashes. The onyl mission I got stuck on was heat. The run down the hill was a ***** xD

I used no guides, i usually just killed some, moved forward to more cover, killed more, pushed forward. Was fairly repetitive.

Yay yay yay yay yay. My first maxed game. It took me, god knows how many hours to finish One Shot, One Kill and No Fighting In The War Room on veteran though.
