I'd say COD4 and Gears of War. Those are the essentials. (Possibly GOW2 when that comes out)

If you're into RPGs, look into Mass Effect or Oblivion. If you like music games, try Rock Band or some Guitar Hero games.

Mass Effect, Bioshock, Oblivion, Geometry Wars (of course), and Lost Planet cause I <3 it.

I would recommend avoiding Halo 3 if you dislike monotonous online play and ***** 12 year olds.

My absolute must have is CoD4 =P~ . Other favorites are GTA IV and Rainbow Six Vegas 1 =D>

Ones to rent first :| : Bioshock, Rainbow Six Vegas 2, Assassin's Creed, Gears of War, Turok, Medal of Honor Airborne, Battlefield 2:Modern Combat, Army of Two Rockband?-Guitar Hero Series?-Project Gotham Racing Series?

Big No No's(just don't do it) [-X :CoD 3, Hour of Victory, Turning Point:Fall of Liberty, America's Army:True Soldiers

Played them all
