WOTLK Beta

The upcoming WoW expansion for anyone who doesn't know.

Anyone WoW players here get in? It's hard to know exactly if they've sent out all the keys yet since Blizzard and Blizzard posters don't seem to be saying, but I've seen plenty of people on the WoW forums saying *most* of the Opt in keys have been sent.

Anyone here get one?

I never even tried, don't even have the burning crusade one yet.

Waiting till i at least hit level 60, don't think there will be much content on them for a low level.

Edit: I did see WOTLK is getting achievements though, i think that's pretty cool.

Yeah, looks to be pretty interesting. Good they're including achievements for all the old content and not just the new stuff as well.

Stats thing looks nice as well.

I like the look of that. Haven't gotten a key and don't expect to. I'll stick with Creepy's idea of getting 60 before upgrading to WOTLK. Don't feel like running around new areas as a level 19 gnome :oops:

List of the current achievements in beta there. Chance some might be changed/removed as it's still in beta.

I didn't opt in for the Beta, I'm patient enough to wait for it to be released.

Those achievements look really interesting, I'd actually like to know how much gold I've spent on travel costs.

I was considering dropping my hunter for a Death Knight but after hearing about the pet talents and the class revamp, I'm definitely staying. The Survival tree looks pretty sweet, I'd love to see it be more than just that one hunter in the raid for Expose Weakness. Marksmanship also looks like it's gonna be raid-viable, and Beast Mastery will be overpowered for as long as you keep your pet alive, as always

I opted-in for the beta, haven't heard back. I won't be too disappointed if I don't get selected though. I kind of just want to play WOTLK when it's good and ready. PLUS I WANT TO CHANGE MY CHARACTER'S HAIR COLOUR. I think Achievements will be fun, but kind of pointless. It's nice to set little goals for yourself though.

Nope still no beta invite for me.

Most of my WoW friends got in to the beta. Played on a few of their accounts. The Death Knight starting quests are awesome and had a quick run around Northrend, Looks good. But I'll have to wait for release to really play it I think.

I will be sure to post some screenshots as I play along, since I canceled my WoW subscription nearly a month due the fact that I barely had any time to play WoW, but getting accepted into WOTLK beta sucked me back in. Right now I am downloading the game/beta client, and the latest patch. I will re-new my WoW subscription later tonight and hopefully will be able to play the beta today.

Am I the only one who really doesn't care about the death knght class? It seems bland and boring to me, but it might prove me wrong if I actually got to try it xD

I think we'll have to see how things pan out. I'm not insanely interested in getting a Death Knight since the realms will be filled with them.
