The Few, the proud, The Retired, And others

I would just like to say that i tip my hat to fellow retired players, for escaping a mind trap, and to those who still play, i would like to know why do you play? share your stories. I would put this in questions but i feel this topic is a discussion all its own

I quit in like 5 seconds. Well.. Quit the JUST RUNESCAPE games. Warcraft3 and Starcraft are both VERY good anti runescape addiction games. I still play runescape. And to answer your question, They play for fun. Isent fun whats it all about?

I would say we play because we can not stop. kind of like an addiction. myself I have kind of weaved myself off of it. and now I have a life,a girlfriend and even yes a JOB. so I dont know if that awnsers your question at all.

I think you can make lots of friends in the internet or even in real life.
Actually interenet games is for social, chat, etc. Then why would they even make it "online" .
Anyways, that my reason.

the only thing keeping me coming back to runescape is friends. I have made some really good friends through runescape. Sure, it can be an addictive game, and sure it can easily get boring. But I have not much else to do. I find games boring if its just me playing against the computer. Its more fun when you have ppl to talk to, and challenge and so on.

I used to play unreal tournament 99, i was in a clan and played it for 3 years str8, i never got bored because i had friends there. But i quit last year for my own reasons. But thats my story, if runescape was a single player game, i would never play it.

Also, i have been bored of rs lately, mostly because im sick of all the scammers, hackers, losers, children that think they are better than everyone else. Those low lifes, ruin the game for the people who have a life, and who respect others. Still, im not gonna quit because of kids, or hackers, or low lifes. **note: this is not directed at any single person, if you have a problem with my choice of words, then private msg me**

I play runescape because my whole class does, also to support my clan and to relax.
Runescape aint boring, it's just relaxing (well, that's my opinion)

i play waaaaaaay too much so i think i'll quit for a few months after my membership runs out (4 days)

I play because it burns time. I usually have nothing to do, so why not play Runescape. And like others already said, I've made some great friends on Runescape.

Wee one reason I play RS is to get an outfit I saw a guy wearing. Once I saw it I felt in love with it. Its Blk (t) plate and legs D med D sqauare D long red boots and gloves a red cape (zammy cape or frenny)
