[Guide] Making it thru down times when you have been hacked

So youve been hacked, your at an all time low and your on the verge of quiting runescape.

Some people would give up and say omg i cant do nething im screwed!!
People like me think of this as a challenege.

I recently got hacked and lost everything i also got muted which suckd even more, I didnt wanna sound like a stupid noob standing there saying CAN I HAVE FREE STUFF I GOT HACKED (how embarissing is that)
So i thought im gonna get through this and give a way others can to.

*Note* not everyone can do this as not everyone will have skills like mine but most prolly will. If u have a similar case and u found another way off getting through this please post to help others.
Ok lets get down to this.

I was left in rellekha i logged on and had nothing this is what i did.

I went to catherby
- Killed men or women untill i had have 20gp
- fished lobsters and sold for around 200 gp each
(from here on you can choose any other skill that would make money for you to help your self. I choose woodcutting)
-I walkd to lumbridge and bought a steel axe. (long way since i could not buy from people, i was muted)
-Walked all the way back to Seers and cut maples
- once i had 200 maples i walkd to varrock and bought a rune axe
- went back to seers and cut a lot of maples.

(to get my mind off the tiring job of cutting wood i choose a lvl not to far away and far enough that the maples in the end would b able to buy so good armor (rune) i choose to get to lvl 70 wc (i was lvl 66) this helped get my mind off things)

- After i got to lvl 70 i was unmuted and had enough logs to buy full rune and anything else i needed.
- now if you want you can continue to cut logs or what ever skill your using to make money off or you can switch to another since u have the money to support it. Or if you have enough money and skills to start a lil business go ahead.

After that you should be good to go and out of the down feel of the hack.

If you have another way off getting throught his that requires less high lvl skills plz post in as it will help others.

Err.. I don't know how to say this but...
It's a nice guide for those who are depressed when they got hacked..
But try putting more ways into it..Not just fish lobsters, why if I don't have 40 Fishing..
I mean like, put in more ways.
Other than that, the colors are in, pretty organized.. I hae to say Good Job

i recently got hacked and lost ova 1 mil of stuff ( dont laugh im poor) and now i have it all back. thanks to a goal, hard work and commitment to rune crafting! 44 them 2.5k of nats = 1mil :lol:

It's a nice guide but if you have 15mil or more value of stuff, it's really hard to get it back

well when i get hacked i was lvl 55 i think
I earned my full rune back with mining..

I'd prolly break down and cry lol. From here on now, I don't need to worry about getting hacked as much, it's a dam good challenge you're right!

My hint: Invest all your money in skills, if you have stockpiles of valuable items, sell them and buy skills xp (prayer, etc

Skills cannot be taken away by hackers

This is why I keep what I like to call a few "rescue" accounts... they each contain a rune baxe, 100k, one of each rc tally, and a rune hatchet and pick. So that I have something to get off my feet again in an emergency... I had 3 of these accounts but took the stuff of one when I needed money and felt two was enough as I bareley ever used them and it was unlikely that both of my little rescue guys would get hacked.

lol huitzi i dnt mean that you have to get all ur stuff back since what ur talking bout would be really hard to get back im just saying it would help you get sum of the important stuff back so your account is back to normal :lol:

I've been recently got hacked and lost about 7 million in cash + alot of expencive stuff. I still remember that I was so depressed I was thinking to quit the whole RuneScape-adventure and leave my RuneHQ job for wath it is...

But now I'm trying to see who's boss. I can range again soon enoufg. Tobad not with a Robin hood hat and a pair of Ranger Boots, but I'll show who's boss!

I think thats good advice, going from nothing to something is good. My friends keep getting hacked (they keep managing to lose their pass to an annoying fat guy who looks over their shoulders when typing their pass). The latest one to get hacked had one of my rune scimitars on his account (lending him one because he had no weapon), he's gonna have to repay me for that so I'll get him to fish me some raw lobs once he's got his account back. That annoying fat guy changed his pass :evil:

This is a really good guide, I remember when I use to get hacked all the time...it was really hard, But I did work similar to this guide.
