Runescape going down hill?

its been like this since b4 rs beta, its just now people are getting sick of it

I hate scammers.One time I was in arb. Village and I heard this conversation:
Guy1:Hey wanna go scam people?
Guy2:ok but I don't know how
Guy1:I'll show you ok?
Guy2:ok thx

not really off topic if they feel miniclip is the reason why runescape is going downhill, which is one big reason.

Dont sweat the small stuff man... its not like these people have any reasoning ability anyhow. I often find myself setting public chat to "hide" and the private chat to "friends" thats how annoying the general popluation has gotten. Just take it with a grain of salt.... i cant count how many times ive went to catherby to pot lobs and have seen the words "your mum" or somthing to that effect. Their always seems to be alot of "mom" conversations around catherby fishing shore... so much that I just do like posted above... private chat--->"hide" public chat--->"friends"

everyone calls poeple noobs no matter what lvl they are i was a lvl 70 and i being called a noob and stuff

I'm going to write out some paragraphs here about the general stupidity sweeping Runescape. If you don't like reading long posts, leave now. If you're going to disagree with me and just flame me, leave now. I have no problems with debating. Here's your Table Of Contents:

Uh, to start of this post. Let us make this clear: IT IS A FRICKEN GAME.

Okay. So, there's all these people saying 'Wah! Prayer noob!' And all these people saying that, if you're not breaking the rules, taking an item you see on the ground is dishonorable...

It's an online computer game, guys and girls! Get some lives, 10$ and a girlfriend if this is all you care about. Thatsjust sad. Really. There's more to life than clicking all weekends on Runescape. Get out. See a movie. Get lucky. C'mon.

If arrows are on the ground, of course they're up for grabs! If your axe head falls off and you're not paying attention, I'm going to take it. Your fault. Not mine. If you're too busy reading the fourms, and you die from a random event, you have no one to blame except YOURSELF!

If you're not breaking the rules, then guess what? It's allowed. It's fair. I'm not going to go out of my way to get your items. I wont shut doors when you're running out if a Zombie. I won't build barricades in castle wars just so the other team gets the flag.


I will take free items off the ground. I will use EVERY advantage I have to escape from you in the wilderness. I will. If you're not good enough to outwit me, sorry.

And this happens with almost everything. Monsters. Fishing spots. Anything.

If anyone here can mention where I can buy a square of land, please, inform me. I'd love to buy some squares to make sure no more magic logs are cut, then I can control the fletching industry...MUAHAHAHA!

All jokes set aside, I hate these people. It's not your block. It's not mine. It's Jagex's.

Also, I'd like to add the fact that no matter what you say, I'm not going to stop what I'm doing.

I don't get pushed around here. Or in real life. Got a problem? Switch worlds.

...Onwards and upwards. Anyways, people who stick their nose into your business just to see whats happening near their vicinity. Example:

I get this all the time! No, I don't *HAVE* to tell you my woodcutting level. No, I *DON'T* have to tell you my mains name. No, I *DON'T* even have to talk at all. And don't accuse my of autoing just becuase I'm not talking. I'm probably ignoring you for a reason, or I'm just not in a talking mood.

Maybe I don't have time to answer your dam questions. Maybe I'm just sick of explaining the same couple of sentences over and over. Maybe you're annoying.

Anyway, I'm probably not going to tell you.

Lying, cheaters, scammers, and hackers are everywhere! I have no problem with people that ignore other people when they're being jerks. I have no problem with people who deserved to be told their place. I do have a problem with people who just insult, scam you, deceive you just to get your items\account. It's wrong.

It's not fair to take peoples items' that they worked for. It's not fair to take peoples chars that they spend HOURS of time on.

F2P- LOL! This place is the breeding ground for the scum of the internet. They'll say anything to get handouts, your items.

They're so unoriginal too.

Dude 1:Hey Ill trim your armor.
Dude 2:Hey I will too!
Dude 3: Nuh uh I better!

And so on and so forth.

Jagex doesn't want to do anything. It will hurt the millions they rake in from us paying members. How many people quit because of the scammers/hackers/scum? 100? How many new members are they luring in a month? 5000? They have no reason to do anything until someone steps up and makes a stand. No one has. No one will. Want to know why? They're afraid of getting banned.

This is a dictatorship.

They have the same scams, the same tricks, the same routines every day of their Runescape life. Sad. Really.

So what I'm level 3?

Got an issue with it? I don't care. I don't give a flying pig what you think.

My 5$ dollars to spend, not yours.


Basically, people all go up to me when I'm chopping magics or yews and begin to go

"OMG Freekin nubs are all over members now! Omfg !1!!oneone!!!1111"

Don't question my values, as I don't question yours. I leave you alone. Do the same to me. I don't beg people, I don't scam, I don't sit in the waiting room of castle wars.

I contribute. Do you? How do you make Runescape a better place to play? I report rule-breakers. I tell people when they're breaking the rules. I don't go around insulting peoples' morales just to suit my fancy. You do. Don't sit there pretending to be a saint. You're not. I'm not. We're just players of a fun online game. If you don't like the fact that I'm a level 3 pure with more money than you, then switch worlds.

Don't accuse me of cheating just because I'm better than you. Don't accuse me of drop-trading just because you did. I earned my money. Fair and square, 80 woodcutting levels later. My character, my choice. Got and issue? Go away. I've heard the lame arguments over and over.

Don't make it all about me. Don't blame the pure level 3's for the lowering and degrading community. Don't bother. It's just not worth it.

Your character is your choice. My character is mine.
