Hi all, I'd just like to know what the best Barrows armor set to wear is, and please explain why. Also, is Ahrim's Staff any good?

First of all Ahrim Staff isn't that great. You might as well stick to an elemental staff.

Second it's hard to say which barrow set is the best.

I like to have Guthans when doing a slayer task
Karil when I'm ranging (or at least parts of the set)
Verac when fighting player vs player
Torag or Dharok is used in normal combat for it's good def bonus.

Trying to stay on topic, but I just want to know!

What's the difference between Guthans and Torag/Dharoks? You said you prefer Guthans for slayer? But slayer is normal combat, right? So why do you prefer Guthans for slayer? I'm big slayer person, so I really wanna know!

Fill me in, por favor!

Full guthans has an ability where you heal yourself by the amount you hit (if you hit a 20, you heal 20). This doesn't happen every hit though.

Dharoks and Torags are great substitutes for rune armour, and both do high damage with the full set. They are both substantially cheaper than guthans.

Well.. Guthans periodically heals you for the damage that you just did which is great for long slayer tasks.
The special for torags is pretty pointless (idk what it is exactly but it's crappy)
Dharocks is great for pest control, getting high hits and training with prayer.
Ahrims is great for maging but isn't worth the repair costs unless you're making money (like maging steel dragons)
Veracs is great for killing various monster bosses and for PvP combat.
Karils is great for ranging and for fighting magebased monster (jellies, bloodvelds, infernal mages, mutated zygomites, etc)

Overall I think any off the melee armours are good if used with a whip (the weapon the sets come with aren't that good)
Karils and guthans are a slayer must imo so I think that they are the best barrows armours.

Hey thanks for that! Helped out a lot. I think I'm going to purchase some now!
