Well, just to be a little picky here....

Foremost, you merely asked 'what's your favorite' , you never actually specified to put in other etc. so it's not about how hard it is to read or whatever you're talking about.
Secondly, all these types of Metal are so different from one another the difference between them is similar to how Punk is different from Pop/Dance. I would have felt extremely inaccurate by just saying Metal because it's one of the music styles that varies the most between its sub-genres.

The Bezerker.

I think they hold the record for the most drum beats per minute in a song... on a drum I hastent to add. You will always get speedcore bands like Komprex doing things like 1000+ beats per minute. But that's just hardcore techno/aggrotech on speed.
