well, you get 400% of your starting money..but profit, by definition is the money you gain that you didn't start with. therefore, your profit is 75gp. starting with 25, so it is 3:1. hence 300%

o ok, so i guess ill get money by cutting yews then merchant coal iron and some of the other stuff mentioned? kool ty everyone

Mining all iron, half coal, and doing all smelting. Will (hopefuly) result in 75 mining and 70 smithing and a tonne of gp!!!
