Warcraft vs Games Workshop!!

Normally I keep telling people that I considered WarCraft and Warhammer to be two completely different genres at the core, and I still do, but with Warhammer coming to MMOs and RTS games, it was only a matter of time for WarCraft to start moving its way onto GWs home turf.

I think games workshop is going to mop the floor with this wow mini rubbish. And i think the warhammer MMOG is going to blow a lot.

Both should stick to what they know. ;D

WoW has a hell of a lot of players, so I dare say at least a few of those will be sad enough to buy little WoW minatures. Blizzard will probably make at least a fair bit of money out of it. But yes, Warhammer Online will blow, just like LOTRO before it, its tipped to be a WoW killer, and just like LOTRO before it, it will suck.

You know, people might just buy the miniatures to collect them (rather than playing the game). WoW already has a TCG and I think a few people who play that will play this game. Tbh, I think I'd want to buy a few of the figurines (if they're reasonable) since I could play with them. :oops:

some of the figrues could actually look cool. i wouldnt want to buy one but imo theyd look cool on your pc deskl, even if you didnt play wow... so i agree with whoever said it before that people would even buy em even if they aint gonna play the game.

Hmm, I like the Warhammer books, But like most attempts at a company beating WoW in the MMORPG market, it will suck.

Warhammer is **** anyway. The only good thing about it is the army of Chaos. Kharne is an excellent, excellent character.

40k is by far superior. The fluff is amazing.
