I have found a few glitches in sonic the hedgehog 2 on the sega(it's on my wii). In stage one, After getting the speed boost and run up and over the ramp, you sometimes fall through the bridge below and lose a life. Sometimes tails goes into the ground and dies when he follows you the act 2 of the Aquatic ruin zone. Sometimes tails as the CPU ends up in walls and when he follows you, he doesn't walk he is pulled by some magnetic force and can't jump. Sometimes tails floats down by walking on air or in a ball.

Any other funny glitches in other games?

well the button combos in halo 2 (BxR, RRX, RRXyyRRX) were quite memorable. got myself out of quite a few bad situations with those. i like super-bounces too, fun to do that then snipe from outside the map.

Definitely MissingNo and Glitch City in Pokemon Blue/Red. Those two were the most well known and awesome glitches in the game.

When we were younger, my brothers and I played this Star Wars game for the Dreamcast. We load up our favorite level to do co-op and find that the textures were all missing.

"Ice Cream Wars!" we screamed with glee; everything player model on screen was a plain white.

Ah, good old days of the Dreamcast.

In Counter-Strike Source, sometimes shadows of players on a surface/platform above you will leak.

Play cs_crackhouse and you'll see what I mean.

Ah yes. I remember the MissingNo glitch. And surfing along Cinnibar Island shore until you find Pokemon over lvl 300  Nearly everyone used those glitches just for the nearly unlimited items it can give if it worked right.

I also remember many glitches from Gears of War, such as getting out of basically every online map, the weapon slide and of course, the walking turret XD

There was also a glitch in Star Wars Battlefront 2 that will put your character in a infinite freefall, spewing out health and ammo pickups indefinitely.

We used it to our advantage.

The weapon slide was awesome in gears of war. Made the game so much better, only glitch I've found that improved the game overall for all.

Weapon slide?

Please explain. :O

I'd have to say a glitch in my Scooby-Doo game as a child. Scooby-Doo smeared all over the screen. XD

On multiplayer, if you picked up a gun you couldn't move until you was done picking it up. You was locked in animation. Weapon sliding allowed you to flick the gun up and slide off, while still doing the emotion.

It's been fixed now, theres still ways of pulling it off but it's greatly limited and not really worth doing unless you're on canals and wanting to grab a sniper without losing your head.

It improved it because, if you went to pick up a power weapon chances are you'd get Lancered/sniped to hell and killed right off the bat. You could claim this was a good thing, it encouraged strategy and good team work to get the powerful weapons in the game, however that's giving the average XBL player to much credibility and Epic failed to realize the mass majority of players would be nothing short of retarded.

Whenever i had a team of friends playing, it worked perfectly and we could dominate i appreciated it then but solo with 3 randoms? Gah, nightmare.

When I played Rayman 2: The Great Escape and the glitch was there was 2 Rayman! When I saw it, I was like 8 years old, I was so scared then I just quit for ages (About 2-3 months) LMFAO, I will remember this all my life.

Its still possible except the real one has been patched.

If you go against a wall and run along it then pick up the weapon whilst still moving, you slide along the wall. This is really useful on Canals like Creepy said, and it also works on the Boomshot on Mausoleum.
