Skate on Xbox360

Anyone tried or have this game? We're borrowing from a friend and I think i might buy it. It is such a good game!

I tried the demo but i wasn't a fan. Sure it was more realistic..but er if i wanted to skateboard like you do in skate, I'd grab a board and go do it.

Still prefer Tony hawk even if I've not bought one of the games in years, i like the arcadey crazy stunts you can do.

It was good but really the controls (for me) completely ruined it.

They honestly were terribly set out.

Agreed.

However I had a lot of fun with it. I would actually recommend getting it, as the controls become easy after playing for a while

Too realistic for me, it would take hours just to learn to do a good grind. Much prefer the crazy unrealistic style of TH Series.

I completed X-Games on career mode, I just have to do one last cover for Thrasher magazine and two Pro challenges and I am 100% done with the career. Some of the later tasks just get frustrating.

After 10-20minutes of playing the controls are EASY. You have to give this game a chance; it really is awesome.
And creepy, THPS is easy as hell, like playing counter strike with bots at easy level. But if there was one thing skate doesnt have that THPS does is the focus option.(on American Wasteland) Now that, I loved.

This game is by far my favorite game I've ever played. those who say the controls are hard, keep trying. it's worth it.
