Soccer Poem

Soccer Poem

Soccer is what we play it’s what we do
I’d make soccer my job if I was able to
It starts with one just messing around
The will in his head the ball on the ground
Again and again he plays all day
Wishing for one day that the sun won’t fade away
He gathers some friends and together they play
But all their wishes together can’t make the sun stay
Brothers they become and a team they form
To stick together during the summer sun and the treacherous storm
They battle each team the fans rise them up
Hoping to make it to the final battle and take the cup
The final battle is here the end is near not giving it their all is their only fear
They played like the practiced that’s all they had to do to
To beat the opposing team ten to two
Winners they were champions they became
Fortune was in their future and the same with fame
Soccer is what I played it’s what I did
I make soccer my job as I dreamed as a kid

On the line about wishing the sun wouldn't fade away..

I like playing sports on dark, cloudy days.

I haven't considered this but I can. The only thing I ask for is can you give me some ideas or which aspect of runescape you would like me to write about?
A challenge I've been given. =D

Not bad. Looks like you put some effort into it.

For future poems, optionally, see if you can get all the lines to contain the same number of total syllables. It makes a poem sound incredible when spoken aloud.

Presentation: I believe 50% is the poem, and 50% is how the poem is read. For me to read this to you, it would bring out how incredible it really is. Plus many people think poems have to end with rhyming words and have the same number or syllables in corresponding sentences to be great. When in reality, it is harder to write a poem without ending with rhyming words and to have different syllable counts and still be good. I have wrote many poems to the guidelines that you have expressed and recently I have been trying to better my ability with writing poems according to the guidelines I just explained and still have the poems turnout good.
I read this to my class and my english teacher expressed how good it was. Therefore I appreciate your input, but I also take into consideration input of others.

Hmm, wow this will be a task. I'll have to do some research. Ok, I'll work on this.
One more thing, do you want me to do it from the RuneScape character's perspective or me/you (the human playing the game)?

I was thinking about some area in the poem when the player says "When I climb up this rope..." That just sounds like agility to me.
