Only thing I see wrong with the ORIGINAL signature is that it is a bit backgroundless. Perhaps add more of that stuff that is surrounding Master Chief?

I like the way you've done your text, but I don't think the render suits the vector-ish background whatsoever - they just completely contrast, even if the colours suit eachother.

Awesome man, but I think the tan in the backround behind him is a little too shallow, make it larger, a little wider, perhaps to the middle of the signature space?

Yeah, the vector doesn't go well with the 3D render.

Please never use Paint to write text on a signature.
