It's the woman's choice, I personally blame males (my self included) for discriminating.
[ Male sees "hot" female, male gets sexual pleasure from looking @ her ] <- That is the reason why 'society', aka males, create this tension.
Also else where in the world (read: europe) I don't believe this is so much of a problem as they are 'free-er' in their sexuality, so in having it a more common thing, society accepts it.
