What game should I start?

Ok, so I'm wrapping up on The Darkness now (just a few more achievements) and I'm trying to decide which game to play next. I'm finding myself playing through the games, then attempting to get all the achievments, so a game with good replayability would be great.

Right now I can choose from:

TES4:Oblivion
Gears of War
Bioshock

I also have some money for new games, so you can reccomend some others. I enjoy good shooters (good, meaning a storyline) and RPG's. Please, no CoD4 or RockBand/GH3... they're overrated.

COD4s story is really well done. o.0

As for a game with decent achievements. Gears of war has the best out of those 3. Good luck getting the 10k kills now though, Not to sure how the community is these days.

I never liked war games... I'll end up trying CoD4 someday though.

I haven't tried Gears of War online yet, but some people have told me it's still running good, with a nice amount of players. I'll check that out tonight.

By the way, you're sig is too big, I'm telling.

Gears of war online is the second most popular XBL game out so yeah, i'd imagine lots still play it. Just lots of people had a habbit of quitting games, it was very addictive and if you got good at it then it was a lot of fun.

But it had it's problems, that I'm praying get fixed in Geow2.

But other than that start playing Bioshock or check out Orange Box if you never played Half Life 2. But really you should at least try Call of Duty 4 if you haven't yet, it's an awesome game.

For sure. I remember playing Morrowind for like 3 years. I have Oblivion for the PC, but since I have a poop Graphics Card, I had to buy it for the 360. I think I'm gonna do Bioshock next, since it's such a short game (Yes, 6 hours is short. I prefer 40+ hour games).

Well, he is asking for suggestions that meet his interests. I'm personally not interested in battle games either.

Who told you Bioshock was 6 hours? lol?

If you're playing on Easy and run through it perhaps but it's more like 9-12 hours. If you're doing achievements you're looking at ohh close to 20 hours I'd say.

You don't really get 40 hour FPS so ya.

you mentioned over-rated games and didnt mention halo3? shame on you.

anyway, mass effect is really good and has a long play-time to it, so if you are even slightly interested i'd say its worth it.

Out of those 3, Gears of War is definately the best however. By a long way.

He already has Halo 3, and he's maxed it out.

I'd go for Gears of War. Short storyline imo and its still amazing.
