why hate pking?

it seems a lot of people hate pking

post your reasons why... but only if you hate pking.. i dont, so i dont have to post a reason

That's what everyone thinks but it isn't true. You all forget that pures had really low defence. I was pretty good if I say so myself I had 87 strength when I used to pk against many people with 95+.

The thing is they limited themselves with defence and prayer, mostly at 45 and 52. So I had a higher percentage boost on attack, strength and defence than them and I only had to activate one prayer. Added on to my original defence level of 75.

Honestly, the amount of time they ran, teleported, called me a "def narb" was not even funny.

No, everyone hates pking because of pures. 98% of the time they flame so much that you CAN'T enjoy pking.

I didn't much care for it because of the people who would kill you when you weren't pking and had no armour. :oops:

I didn't like doing it because of how hard it was for me to not loose anything, and found it annoying. There was pretty much no way I could get a kill, every time it was probable that I was going to win, they would run into 20 wildy and tele. XD Or I would be owned. It wasn't something I really enjoyed, either, I'd rather be training another skill than be going around the wildy.

I don't like many of the pures who pk either. Especially when in the wilderness.

If something new was released and had a 70 defence requirment, but would be perfect because of the strength bonus, many of them would probably all rant about it and complain. I don't like the way many of them act, I'm retarded for having defence, they could pwn me, their main is level 435, I'm a noob, etc.

I'm not saying that being a pure is wrong, merely saying that most pures act in rude and disrespectful ways.

I could say the same about a lot of people, that they are disrepectful and rude. Pkers aren't always rude, nor are skillers all angels. I happen to play on a "pure" account and I don't appreciate it when you stereotype like that.

Because most pkers ive met are hateful. I really dont see the point behind abyssal pkers back when it was around. Ur not gonna get good drops just 25 ess and maybe a rune pik. oh boy. To me thats just mean. I can understand goin after some dude with like full torags. O well i just never had the urge to go out to wildy and risk it all to fight ppl who would pwn me like mage pures.

I could never understand what the obsession of PKing was. I've only PK'd a few times, and I never won anything. And I always ended up looting.

It just never seemed worth the troubles.

I hated pkers that killed me when I'm trying to get to the mage arena or something. All I'm carrying is a knife and a cape (because I always have one) and they still chase me.

I also hate the ones that hang outside the mage arena and wait for someone to go/leave there.

My main reason, is because I use the mage in the wilderness to craft runes, and people would try and kill me.

No, I hated pking because it required NO tactics. Sure, you could change equipment, use diff spells, etc.., but your fate still depended on a random number generator. You didn't know if you would hit a 0 or a 30+ or get hit for those amounts. There were no tactics involved in that.

Try WoW pking, and you'll never want to pk on Runescape again (if you even could anymore). You hit a certain amount with every hit. Sure, you have a certain percent chance to miss, but that is based on the other persons stats/armor. You don't just hit 10 0's in a row for no *bleep* reason.
