My server is giving me 500 errors...

Anyone know why this might be happening? It seems to do this on and off randomly.

If it's on and off then that's weird, but I get them every now and then due to screw ups in my .htaccess. Just check over that and make sure it's all valid for a start.

How could I validate my .htaccess? Is there a validator I can use?

Well, not validate as you would an HTML or CSS page, but just check over it to make sure everything is as it should be. Realistically though if you haven't edited that recently then there shouldn't be anything wrong with it.

There doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the .htaccess file from what I can see, and since it's happening randomly, I can't see a static file doing it...
