LOL. Neither. Both are horribly slow and outdated. Dial up? What is this dial up of which you speak? Does it even exist anymore? Same with DSL.

Fiber Optics is the only way to go, though cable internet is still decent.

DSL is far better than Dial-up. I use DSL. In England, we haven't got anything better. Our internet sucks :(

How fast are Cable and Fibre where you live, Dan?

Fiber is 15 Mbps Down / 2 Mbps Up, and Cable is 5/1. Hopefully one day we'll catch up to Asia and all have 100 Mbps running to our homes :)

...What

I thought you said DSL was slow?

In England, we can get 24mbps down / 4mbps up ADSL. Cable is 8/1. And only huge institutions like universities have fiber, but that's huge, and gives them gigabit up/down.

I have 5.5/0.4 ADSL, which is still plenty fast for me.

I speak of dial up (my parent still use it when I'm home for the summer).

Fiber is coming to houses in the very near future...lets just say streaming video will be a common occurrence everywhere.

I use DSL, it isn't bad I have Verizon and never had problems with it being slow. It's much better then Dial-Up if you compare those two. But to be honest get Cable if you can.

Apparently it differs much on location. America loses ;)

The sandbox was very rarely used by moderators, site owners and admins, it was used by the regular member to have "fun". Flame baiting, spamming or whatever, I think it would have been only fair to ask what everyone else thought first. Regardless of the outcome, it would have been a lot less selfish (because removing it like this is) and would have gotten a much better response.

Optic Fiber internet is about 1.500, i used T3 a few times pretty nice, and Optic Fiber takes about 8-12 weeks to install.

I have DSL here although occasionally the connection goes down to dial-up speeds, it's usually alright. But fiber optic is supposed to be coming through sometime in the next 6 months (hopefully).

Spoiler for Everything else:

A Kid asked Jesus, "How much do you love me?" and Jesus said. "This much."
And spread his arms out on the cross and died.
If you believe that he did this for you put this in your signature.
