Name Change Policy Change

I get the feeling you was being sarcastic. It's this week alone. Obviously things might be a bit confusing now but in the long run it's going to be a lot easier.

Or it could have just been stopped right away? That would have been much better... seeing as how many on this forum don't like to think for themselves anyway; half of them are going to see this announcement as "change your name now!"

And if we did that it wouldn't be seen as fair. This way is fair. We'll change your name for this week alone and never again. Last and final chance for it to be done.

If we didn't do this we'd get complaints "WELL HE GOT HIS NAME CHANGED@@" at least when this week is done we can respond with "well, we had a week allowing it, isn't our fault you wasn't here/didn't take advantage of it."

I don't see the harm in it, this was the best solution.

. Also I've started using ryan1 elsewhere, like as my whatpulse account, etc...

I agree that this is a good way to do it, so the confusion stops after this week, instead of an occasional major change here and there.

you guys must get flooded with dozens of name change requests for abnormal requests that don't follow the rules. :s hope its easier for you next week

I agree with you on that.

Like maybe the week when RSBandB turns another year old they allow name changes again, so that every year at a certain time (that the staff is alright with) people can change their names. Because I'm sure by this time next year we'll have new members wanting a name change.
