I cannot stress this enough. If you're a hopeless nerd in real life, be a nerd when dating her. If you're a WoW geek in real life, be a WoW geek when going out with her. If she mentions runescape, dont shy away - you must be yourself. Tell her what you're in to. If you're not yourself when going out with someone, it will never last.
That's great advice, but I wouldn't recommend delving deep into things unless she shows that she's interested. Meaning: if she asks you what you like and you tell her that you play games, notably Runescape, only start going into it if she asks about it.
Nothing is weirder than having a guy go on about something I have no idea about. Also, show interest in the things she likes. It's great to be yourself and all, but it makes girls a lot more comfortable if the conversation is balanced.
