my school has a block too, but if u can understand some sort of comp. lang. u can go to advanced and do somthting with the files to stop.

i wounder y rs is blocked....theres no swearing...rarely...due to the censors and its hard to bypass the filters....no porn....-.-;; schools r weird... :roll:

A little thing I call bandwidth. Schools usually have T1 line which is 1.544 Mbps upload and download. In a highschool with several computer labs and over hundresds of kids surfing the internet almost all hours of the school day, the bandwidth is limited, and if people are playing runescape with a constant download and upload rate, it eats up the bandwidth. So administrators want to block out these bandwidth eating games.

my school used laptops from the US grant from president
'no child left behind'

they don't block runescape, etc
neopets,conquer, they dont block games

Rs isnt blocked out on the comps at my school, but i do my HOMEWORK at school instead of playing a game
