Thanks for that post Ryan, nice to see another side slightly away from the argument.
From what I can see, atheists easily have reasons to live. Many of them being scientists, of course, would find reason in helping others - if not for money, where it does come into living life to the full.
I know lots of people who have connections with my Dad who don't believe in a God as a single entity, but devote their lives to helping others beside their day job. For that, I wouldn't care about their religious views, but their modesty is incredible and it's nearly impossible to get them to talk about it. For
that, I respect them more than anyone else, whether "anyone else" is "believer" or "non-believer".
As much as I would like to say more, at the moment I'm restricted from it internationally.
