Barrows has the best defence in the game.
It has awsome effects when a complete set is worn.
And imo it looks quite good.
The only downside is that you have to repair it.
But does that really matter if you have the best defence and a very cool effect?

Dragon does not have to be repaired but has not as good defence.
3rd age doesn't have to repaired as well and it has a better defence then Dragon but it's unbuyable.

Barrows is just the best thing.

Why get a 99 quickly when you can enjoy the skill for a longer time and make a lot of money in the process?

Personally I use barrows because I make quite a bit of profit from Slayer. I make enough to buy myself food with quite a lot to spare, so I give myself the best chance by buying the best armour. (Torags)

I think it is worth it. If I had the money, I would buy it as soon as I could. But that's just me. I never really liked barrows, as I wasn't playing the game when they were released, and I don't understand the whole lower hitpoints or whatever aspect of them...

I prefer dragon over every armour and every weapon, except maybe the whip. I don't know how long its been since I last saw a person in full dragon. And when I do, I think that that person must have really worked for their money and so on.

When I first joined RuneScape, the most powerful thing was the Dragon lond as far as I can remember. When I joined, there was no Dragon Chain, or legs, it was just the mid-helm. And now that I see people with it full, it makes me think that they really must have worked hard, or got lucky to get it.

Barrows has never really done it for me, and I don't intend to buy it, I'm sticking to Rune, until I can get Dragon.

Dragon looks like bronze armor compared to 3rd age...too bad that 3rd age is expensive.

But, ya. I still think it is worth it. I mean, its better than rune so...ya.
