Corded definetly. It's much better for gaming and you don't have to waste your money on batteries, regardless if they are rechargable batteries.

I like corded. I've used wireless before and it just felt too weird. I returned it not only because of this but it hurt my hand as well. I don't trust wireless and their batteries for gaming or heavy use. ;)

I really like the Logitech Mx 518. Although when I use it to game it only lasts about 18 months  Gone through three of em...

I have the Logitech Mx 518 1600 dpi mouse also. It's great for gaming and I'm very satisfied with it. What specific games do you play?

I bought a wireless and I didn't like it that much, to be honest. I had to buy lots of AAA batteries and always had a feeling it would run out right in the middle of something I was doing.

So, I just stick with a corded mouse. Less hassle, and they're much easier for me to use.

I have a corded mouse. I like the reliability, and I'd rather not have to charge my mouse all the time.

I have the Razer Pro|Click 1.6, which is wired (with a gold plated USB connector 8)). It's also always-on, which isnt possible with a wireless mouse because of power consumption - with wireless mice, when they're not in use, they powerdown slightly, then when you move them, they powerup. There is a slight delay because of this, which doesnt exist with my mouse.

I've used a wireless mouse before and it always decided it would stop working in the middle of using it, so I'm sticking with wired mice. All Razer mice are corded because they're designed for fast response and reliability in gaming.

Like most people have said, just go with corded. You don't really have to worry about anything happening and the cord is not much of a hassle.

A logitech cordless mouse and keyboard came with my laptop.

I ditched the cordless mouse because batteries didn't even last 2 weeks. It's too expensive to replace those all the time.

The keyboard batteries last about 3 months though.

Corded mouse, but I think buying a mouse specifically for gaming might be taking it a little to far :P. I'm fine at games with my $13 mouse

Definitely corded, I like the responsiveness and the fact that I am not worrying about replacing batteries all the time.

I also like my MX 518, although I'm still on my first. All those programmable buttons do come in handy. I don't find myself switching sensitivity very much though, as I prefer to stick to one setting (I like 1000 the most). It's too much trouble for me to adjust to the new sensitivity when I change it.

In my house everyone has a laptop so I just use a touch pad. But at school they are all corded.
