I think it should stay the way it is. I think it would be dumb if someone lost their dragon axe head and you picked it up, but u couldn't do anything with it because you don't have the right handle for it.

Back on topic: Yes, that's stupid. They should make it unique; perhaps magic wood or runite? Perhaps, because the axe is of dragon which should be strong, it whould be impossible to remove the head from the handle.

Good or Bad? It's logical. I don't see the issue.

So the axe handles look different? Doesn't mean it won't fit on a regular axe handle. Nintendo DS and Nintendo DS Lite function the same way and look different, but they'll both play the same games.
