Some other games I play have a different form of gaining exp. In another game I play, every time you level, you gain less exp from things that lower levels were doing. In RuneScape, you could literally forge your way to 99 Smithing with bronze daggers (although it would be incredibly stupid.) while getting the same exp.

Which way do you think is better to gain exp? If RS were to change exp gaining, you would get lower exp for fletching 15 arrow shafts at level 98 than level 8.

That would be bad, because then alchemy would give less and less experience and it would cost so much and take a looooooong time to get 99 magic

runescape is perfect the way it is

its preety much you get what you earn unlike other games where you have to stick to a strict scedual to be the best
in runescape you can do whatever you want and comeback to still kick major butt XD

runescape is original and its perfect the way it is, i hate when people complain about the bad graphics

bad graphics + free will over awsome graphics with strict rules to lvling
(oh but runescape can lower the vocal restrictions a tad, you cant even say hey there without getting a few * thrown in...)

you know what i mean if youve played ragnarok or maplestory

those are if you put 1 point ina differnt skill than your suppost to you get ownd bad....
ragnarok lvl 66 sin and maplestory lvl 34 chief bandit(i still like them thou haha)

This would be reallybad. I'm bad at leveling and I'm not the only one *cough*scammers*cough*so this would hinder players and make them want to leave. Which equals bad for runescape.

Well, im happy the way it is, think about pures though. To level on a pure you would say use monks for a lot of levels so it would take alot longer for them to become better, which in a way I think is a good thing because pures will be less powerfull and the wilderness won't be dominated by them..

I think RS is great the way it is. I do not like how on other games that the only way to still gain xp is to do the highest thing that you can do/make. RS gives alot more freedom.

But what did such a Teuton afterwards look like when he had been "improved" and led into a monastery? Like a caricature of a human being, like an abortion: he had become a "sinner," he was in a cage, one had imprisoned him behind nothing but sheer terrifying concepts... There he lay now, sick, miserable, filled with ill-will towards himself; full of hatred for the impulses toward life, full of suspicion of all that was still strong and happy. In short, a "Christian"... - Twighlight of the Idols

The reason we join these sites is for freedom so like I said it would make people leave. I know I would. :?

less exp at a high level=less members=less money for jagex=no more runescape=gower brothers in gutter. so no....keep it the way it is....its a good system and still takes ages to get 99's.

Prayer would cost much more to powerlevel. August would've still be in the low 90s if not worse.
