Is the Firecape a contest for lower levels?

I think that the firecape is a contest for some of the lower lvls

DO you think it is hard to get the firecape?

I think its pretty easy to get to the Tz-Tok Jad but then it gets hard if your bad at concentrating.

I don't really know about lower levels. I don't know how hard it is without the level 70 range equipment.

By contest I assume you mean minigame.

Getting a Firecape is still fairly hard because it takes so long and requires a lot of money. If you're well funded then it is fairly easy.

Those level 42s are not your normal level 42s. They are pures especially built to defeat the Jad.

I don't think the difficulty should be raised, its good where it is.

Yes, I do think that people are trying to be the lowest person ever to beat it. It's to be expected for something of this sort. Everyone wants to be famous for being the lowest person to kill it.

Yes most of the people who are getting it at a lower lvl are pures built just to get it

But is it that these lower lvls are trying to get it at a lower lvl

I think it is kinda getting like a contest for some people. I think killing jad and getting the cape is hard enough already, it doesnt need to be made even more difficult. I reckon the lowest level to get it would be about 35+ (combat level

My concern is that there is mainly only 1 or 2 tried and true methods of doing it. It's not much of a challenge if you know what to do. It's a test of skill and reflex, not ability. If anyone wants an ability cape, there are the skill-capes to watch out for.

I myself haven't tried it, but personally think that it is a little too difficult, expensive, and risky as anything to attempt. I'm just going to wait until another, more cheaper method of winning it arises. Knowing Jagex, it won't take very long.

Ya, it seems as though it is more of a contest of ISP's than of skill.
Bad ISP = you don't stand a chance because one lag, and you die.
Good ISP = lvl 40 people can beat it

for me getting the fire capem is hard...yea i know im a 104 but its still hard...and i think that it has become a contest between lower levels
