Moderator rank problem on PHPBB

On the picture below, Sythe is a moderator, but (1)he can't see the mod-only fourms, (2)his name isn't green, (3) he has no mod powers.
I double checked and yes, he is in the mod group and has the appropriate rank. So what's the problem?

WHich PHPbb forum ya using?

Is the group 'Moderators' permissions' set correctly? If your using 3 you'll have to go into forums > forum moderators > select the forums > then select the group > then choose what type of a mod you want.

But somehow I don't think your using 3 or if you are then i'll look into something else.

That's what I kinda figured...

Check your group and forum perms to allow the 'Moderators' group to be moderators in certain forums and to be allowed to see certain ones.
