A pure or a main?

Well since I created new RS account and being playing for over a week a now I am thinking about having it a ranger pure or an actual main? I am just stuck between 2 choice since I don't have a main anymore and might not able to enjoy everything or as people say "all the action" since on a pure I will be most focusing on keeping 1 defence and PKing. Here are my current stats, some opinions please.

A Pure turned Main.

Just try to keep your combat stats as pure as you can, but still work on non-cb skills like a main would.

Why? You need a main to earn cash to make a pure.

Who said I can't make money on pure? Really easy with non-combat skills and PKing. Cash was never a problem for me.

Who said you have to be a 1 defence pure or a main? you can be a rune pure with 40 defence or you can always change your pure type because most pures get Ranged up for Dragon hide. So if you feel like you are "missing out". Just get 60 Attack and High Strength to be a Strength pure OR get up Magic and become a Mage Ranger (not good on pure types' names =P).

Really smart move, thanks for an advice. Plus if I get bored of my pure I can try raising defence to 40 like you previously said. Thanks!

I would go with a pure, but if you accidentaly level your defence, don't worry about it.

Why not both? Have a 20 defence pure or a 45 Defence one and train attack and strength much higher.
