So after getting annoyed that i can't make my own good looking graphics i decided to try and learn GIMP again .. (i forgot a long time ago, and now in one of my classes im using it again)

Very cool. I like the clouds. I'm glad you're learning GIMP because I'm learning new things in GIMP also. Today I learned how to make buttons. Check this out,

Was there a guide you read to make it?
-> looked very closely and noticed that is seem to have striping very lightly designed into it (like you had masking tape on the sig and spray pained it very lightly with yellow then removed the tape)

-> i like guides from Pixel2Life They also have links for many many other programs as well

Well it's for my English Media class, we get to study the media in general. We make our own movie in the end. For the movie we have to promote it, and for that we are being tough how to use GIMP, although ill probably just make a poster by hand anyways ... If your wondering for printing there is a local printer with this massive printer that can do about 6 foot wide print * max length of the roll of paper if you want.

I love GIMP

It's basically the poor man's photo shop. Nice job, though, I'm thinking of getting back into graphics and these guides you posted will probably be a big help in expanding my knowledge of it.
