If you could be a Mod - Would you?

Though the silver crown next to your name might look nice, I would not do it. It may make you feel good to have some power over other people, if that is the kind of person you are, but the attention player mods get by everyone is not worth the crown. I like to play in the peace and quiet sometimes, and that would be hard when you have people following you around all the time. So I would most likely decline their request.

I used to want to be a Player Mod but even with the constant daily GOOD reports i made they didn't do anything about it and now i'm not wasting anymore of my energy on reporting people, unless their offence is blatant.

I'd love to be able to help others better, and, admittedly, to check out the Mod Centre, but I would feel obligated to play RuneScape. I already report rule-breakers as I see them, and my time on RuneScape is better spent on other things than constantly watching the chatbox.

No, mods in rs are Kiss ups to Jagex. Those trying to be selected will try to get you angry then report you for absolutely out of cold blood. They flame people on the Rs forums so they "think" they'll have a higher chance of being selected. I wouldn't want to be a p-mod for there are not really any rewards.(The crown does not count.)

If you're under my description, you're just wasting your time!
It's not worth it. Look, what are the chances of you getting the position
(unless you have friends in high places.) There are hundred of thousands of players trying to get the position you're working hard for.

I would, but if I found it annoying (Due to the abundance of people that constantly ask them questions), I'd probably resign.

I suppose the good thing about being one is that you aren't obliged to help people. Yet you still have the powers.

I wouldn't because all the people who would flame you because you report people ect, that just wouldn't be a nice idea, i get flamed for having little money, nevermind for reporting to

I would be interested in obtaining a position as a Player Moderator, but I wouldn't strive for it.

I enjoy helping other players out, and do so whenever given the chance. But I don't need to be a Moderator to do that.
