Well its depend How the person play. If the person play without break, if the person doesnt sleep, doesnt eat. That can cause the death. But I dont think you can die if you play like over 7 hour in a day. When I played with my main at rs, I could play like 8 hours per day, and im not dead...

That's because we only sleep at night! You can do anything you want for over 8 hours straight during daylight, but if you don't sleep at night you could die. If you don't sleep for over 5 days, you'll die. If you play 8 hours a day, you're not gonna die, because you still get your sleep at night.

That cant even happened, I played DoD for 52 hours straight and sometimes 12 hours, and nothing happened to me, this is *******.

If you don't sleep for over 5 days you die! Staying up without sleep for 52 hours won't do a thing! It'll only make you tired and crabby.
That's not true.. we could al sleep in the morning and never sleep at night, it wouldn't do ****.

i never said that!! i said if u go 5 days without sleep, you'll die!

At least WoW noobs are smarter than Runescape ones ;D

I know it's offtopic, sorry.

Rofl.

Winned.

Brad, you should make a WoW char on the Shadowmoon realm. ;)

Anywho.. yeah to be honest if you let yourself get that immersed in a game, it's what you should expect really...

honestly? i think it's easier to get addicted to Runescape than to get addicted to WoW.

reasoning: in rs, what drives players? the high score list mostly- which is mostly proportionate (sp?) to how many hours you put in. However, on wow what can you possibly gain by staying on for days straight? there are no raids that long, surely grinding for gold/consumables can wait for a good nights sleep. The only thing i know of that has ever kept players up in wow for days at a time is the old honor grind... which doesnt exist anymore.

there was this kid whose parents played WoW. One week, the 2 parents decided to play practically 24/7 for a week. They had a special pizza delivery man who'll just use the window near the computer so the parents wouldn't have to get up, and they had a freezer full of sodas at their feet. They ignored their kid for so long that he died of neglect. The said part is that the parents are suing Blizzard for "killing their child." I mean, what the ****?

I agree with you, the highscore make player getting addicted. The fact that players can weild X armor at X level is addicting too. The fact to continue to make money before the X item ( Ex : Halloween Mask ) getting a higher price is addicting. I never played Wow so I dont know if its addicting of not, But one of my friend play and he cant stop to play. He play regualary, about 6 hours per day

Highly disagree. I never really got addicted to RS at all, just used to play for an hour or so. But now I am a little addicted to WoW (not majorly like some people).

Oh, and for every single piece of X armor you have to get to X level to use it (and every single level has a different thing of armor).

This is insane...I don't think she just died of lack of sleep. I think it was a combo of probably not sleeping, not eating, and probably very little to drink. Regardless, I can imagine playing something for 72 hours straight...I have a very addictive personality. I see something that is cool and I play it none stop. I think it is just the way you are. You have to come up with things to do or just not play when you have something important to do...just to stop yourself.
