So, I have $70 bucks at Best Buy. Any idea what I should buy for boxing week?

Should I buy Guild Wars or return to WoW? Or perhaps something else?

I want suggestions and opinions.

I'd go with Guild Wars.

There is a lot of cooperation in that game, you almost need to work together to get anywhere. Plus, there is a wonderful PvP aspect. You also only need to buy the game in a store, and you're all set. No membership fees are required , nor does the company try to leech more money off of you, unless you feel like extra character slots (which I never found necessary.).

Of course, I'm not the expert when it comes to WoW because I have played very little of it.

WoW.

It's just generally better than GW. WoW has better game engine, graphics, and I can assume is generally more challenging judging by what I've heard about GW.

£9 a month for WoW or if you're clever and have enough money at a particular point you can get yourself a 6 month payment and have it working out at £7.50 a month.

Which works out at £2.50 more expensive than RS a month, for a highly superior game.

I 100% agree. And if it's return to WoW, why did you leave? :P
Go with WoW all the way, especially since they are about to release the new expansion pack.

Why? Because I was sick and tired of every realm being down every update...and that I was stuck on 3 quests that I needed to do.

Buy an xbox live year subscription then you can play hundreds of games online all year for free.

That may be a possibility. But the only Xbox Live games I have are Halo 2, NHL 06, and MK:Armageddon.

If you have halo 2 and xbox live, you are set for the entire year. You don't get bored of halo 2. I can play that game non stop without getting bored.

Go with GW if you dont like it that WoW is down alot. GW is Rarely down, and the quests are reasonably silmple to understand what to do, but that dosent mean that the enemies are going to be easy. Plus GW requires you to cooperate with the other players in order to get to the end of a campain and complete the more difficult quests. GW allows you to change your secondary profesion and skill and attribute build at anytime you wish, just enter a town and switch. There is well over 300 skills to learn and capture, including Eliete skills. Also the PvP aspect of the game is unparalleled in its ever-changing strategies and skill builds. All this, and you dont even have to pay monthly charges. Just buy 1 of the 3 GW campain games, install it, and your set. GW may not have the best graphics compared to WoW or be as big, but you have to remember the GW hasnt been out as long as WoW, its relativly new compared to it. Also GW is bringing out at least 2 expansions every year, so there is always non-stop questing and completeing of missions for you to do. So if your wanting something different then WoW, get GW.
