RuneScape with good music

I was thinking about this while I played a game (not RS) with some really good music, even though the game wasn't that good the music just made it super better. Think how BETTER RuneScape will be with some real music, I mean after all you have to be 13 years old to play the music, why the music is 3 years old?

Think how better the game will be with music from some of this combat games on xbox360, wii (or other systems).

This would be a good idea, but it would be a bit more laggy because of large song files. Maybe if you had a music library and could make your own playlist, like on FIFA Street 2.

I would like to inform you jagex have been doing this since runescape calssic.... the music you hear in the game gets played from your computer. Otherwise it will LAGG like hell.

Well why dont you make a good playlist and host it, then provide a link for us. That way we can all listen to it and shut off the crummy rs music. I personally dislike the music for 2 reasons, its junk, and for some reason the music on my account is stuck on the lowest setting, no matter what I do to make it louder, even the music bar in the game options dosent work :roll:

Yes it does, It works on my MacBook (although i ushually play on my pc)

you have to download the latest java updates in order for it to work on some macs

There is no Java things in software update.

The sound effects and area sounds work but not the music...

if rs made good music, i might listen to it an hour but after that it's back to mp3's

Personally, I love the RS music. I love all the others too.

But why not just turn off the RuneSscape Music in game and play your songs with iTunes, Windows Media or whatever you use.

But, if you PC/Mac takes to long to load RS and you get tired of the main theme then you can double clikc the sound icon and a window should pop up. Check the box Sw Synth. RuneScape uses Sw Synth so there ya go. Checking that box turns it all off.PM me for more details

I just turn on my gamecube and play sound-test. No harm done there. Or you can get yourself an iPod or an mp3 player (doesn't have to cost much) and listem to the music from that. It shouldn't lag your computer as much (at least, in MY case).
