"Old Topics" get an icon.

Well, since we tend to get some people posting in 2 year old topics, i think it'd be effective if every topic which hasn't had a reply in 2 weeks get a special icon, much like that of the new and hot topics. Icon should appear "above" the fire symbol but below the sticky.

I suggest a death rune symbol? =] It'd make it much easier to know which posts to and not to reply to.

When phpBB3 is released it might be passable, but for now, it seams like it would be to much coading.

We have a mod that is supposed to do that, unfortunetly, it doesn't work. We'll have to await phpbb3

I would just go and lock all of the topics older than 14 days that arn't on the first page.

There would be no point in doing that manually. The icon would be to prevent needing to do that. XD

Most people know what stickies and announcements are because of their prefix. Dead topics can simply have "Dead:".

"DON'T POST: topic-x" would be better.

Jeffs already explained theirs a mod out that can auto lock the old topics..we don't need the death symbol.

We just need the new version of phpbb
